Endmills are use for machining in the manufacturing environment.
Endmills are separated into two categories.
One is roughing endmills, use for removing substantial amounts of
material in the shortest time possible.
The second category is finishing endmills and these are used for being a finished apart into dimensional tolerance at a much slower speed.
In machining
The type of endmill used will be determined by the material to be machined.
Soft materials such as plastics and aluminum will use primarily uncoated three flute endmills at higher rates of inches per minute.
While harder materials such as stainless steel, Inconel, and hastoly will use coated four or even 5 flute endmills at a slower rate of inches per minute. A few endmill sizes
